The Goings and Comings

Losing Michael Owen certainly seems a catastrophe for Liverpool, a player they thought would belonged to them permanently, given the fact that Michael had made promises that he would remain as a Liverpool player at any circumstances due to his love towards the club, however, things will not always follow our expectation, and it will often deny our wish, no matter how well we thought our position was, when it wants to happen, or, something that need to be taken away, or to leave, when the time comes, it will eventually happen. Last season, just before the new season started, Michael made a sudden and shocking decision that led him all the way to the capital of Spain, Madrid and thought that he would get a better prospect and achievement there, having thrilled by the fact that he would be teamed alongside the talismanic Zidane, the ever cunning-on-the-ball Figo, also the great inspirational Madrid skipper Raul, plus the never tired England captain Beckham, and lastly another superstar is of course, the top scorer of World Cup 2002- Luiz Ronaldo, Michael had anticipated that successes would be met as a Real Madrid Player, although he would had to faced the tough competition from UEFA top scorer of the previous season- Fernando Morientes, the all time leading scorer in UEFA- Raul Gonzalez, and also thrice the winner of FIFA player of the year Ronaldo in gaining a starting place, but he was optimistic, so, he left his beloved club Liverpool to persuade his dream and ambition.

For Liverpool, losing the ace was regarded as a very major problem by many people, the thought that Liverpool would be a lot weaker than it were predicted, but then, the actuality is, Liverpool won the UEFA champions league during that very season Owen switched his jersey from Red to White.

So, losing something we thought that is vital to us, does not mean that our lives will be difficult, as long as we learn how to live without the loss, our efforts and enthusiasm plus the determination to live a better and content life will ultimately compensate for what we lose, and it requires only 2 thing to make this real, that is, time, and a mind that could think in a rational way. There is nothing that one’s life would be destroyed if one loses that particular thing, the exception being money and family and friends…apart from these, I think nothing else is worth a mentioning. Time is the best device to heal wounds, and also to prove to any critics that they are wrong or right, it needs time to make all these happen. Sometimes, losing something will eventually lead to the discovery of something else that could even be more priceless and important than what one has lost, we might not realized bout it at first, but then, again, the effect of time, we will later then realized this.

Manchester United losses David Beckham 3 years ago, but then, they found a even more exciting player in Cristiano Ronaldo, a more versatile player than Becks, Ronaldo is also one with great flair and agility, which Becks does not provide usually provide, so, losing beckham is not really huge loss as it initially seems to be, had beckham still a red devil, Ronaldo might have still being a Sporting Lisbon player now. Another case, again, it involves Beckham, he dumped Barcelona because of Real Madrid, but then, did Barca lose anything? The answer is of course a No, Barca’s fans have to thank Beckham for making that decision, without that choice, they would not have purchase Ronaldihno or nicknamed Ronnie from PSG, the actuality is, Ronnie is a far more complete player than Becks, who says that failing to sign the England skipper is a big mistake?

God damn me…something is wrong with me today… that is why I am degrading my idol Beckham as if he does not worth to be regarded as the best crosser in Europe and probably the best in this universe, but truly, the best example that could make the loss and gain be very obvious come from him, if it were to be viewed from world of football, but this happen not in football, in our everyday lives, this applies without failing as well, however, sometimes, what we discover after the loss of something might be too good for us to possess or to think of having it, at this rate, it wont do good also…although it can be paradoxical at times, however, ultimately what we need is the courage to live strong, and walk out from the hell if we have been condemned into one, just walk out from it like John Constantine does….
