Free YoUr MiNd…

Today is the most stressful day i have ever had since i started my undergraduate’s life..
Given the fact that i will have only one more exam to go after today, i am supposed to feel relaxed and happy, however,
so frustrated after i have opened the question booklet, i couldnt belive what i saw. That paper was about Diversity, which
they named it as Kepelbagaian Haiwan dan Tumbuhan, the reason that i was shocked, not because i saw some complicated diagram
of Rana rana, not because i had to answer 60 multiple choice questions in an hour… okay okay..relax..breathe slowly before
i told myself.."yes..this is real u arent dreaming..this is your exam paper..no mistake..the subject code had been checked,
nothing is wrong.". But..But.. oh my god, look at the questions, there were no questions, but passages with some blank spaces
only wor, at that moment i really really thought that i am seating for kindergarten exam instead, and i bet that those passages
were actually taken from the text book, oh my god is the text book refering to those so called BUku Pengajian Jarak Jauh? yes,
what book is Buku Pengajian Jarak Jauh? it is the ‘text book’ edited by these smart lecturers, whose main job is to walk into
the lecture hall, speak and read according to their aged transparancy, or powerpoint slide shows that they have been using for
years, look, their resources are actually so out of date, that you could hardly see the faded marker ink on the transparancy.
hmm..back to the so called text book, the text is in malay language, but as one read it, one will surely have question marks
floating in their mind for some funny terms keep reappearing, example.. advansi, sikad, caplak, kelicerata etc, we need translate
the terms directly from malay to english, then we will have the real word out, example..advanced, cycad(plant belonged to
gymnospermatophyta), caplak(this is no translated term, but in english, it simply means flea, at first i was like, huh, what
creature is caplak?), kelicerata- chelicerata in english, spiders are called chelicerate because they have a structure known as
chelicerate.. after weeks of word guessing, i wonder why they would want to waste their time to do these translation but not
have the notes in english,it would not doubt easy our life.. well, if they have limited strength to thread the facts in english,
then they can copy the notes from english reference books one rite? so, the conclusion is, they are brainless when it comes to
"how to make your cerebrum works", maybe this has got something to do with their diet? or they are bored of teaching already,
so now they are enjoying the fun they get when they ‘invented’ a new terminology? who knows? maybe the god also puzzled by this
myth.
okay okay.. back to the exam, look at that, the passages were actually from the text book one, with the only difference is,
some words were missing, because they wanted us to ‘fill in the blank’…and the missing words..were those funny answer as well
the family of a plant, or genus of a plant, or where is this plant often be found, or the species name of the plant etc, all
those ‘mou liu’ but very ‘hak pork’(hak pok) answer, and the main point is, those are not important, i thought the reason we
took this subject is to learn the morphology, classification of plants and animals, but look, during the exam, these arent
important, the fundamental knowledge is about, where can it be seen, what is the family it belongs to..
i wouldnt mind you askning these stupid questions if the format was multiple choice one, atleast, you have a standard there,
but not like kindergarten level, are you a prof or a you a…haih..wat ever la..
feeling frustrated, not because i couldn’t answer it, of cos i had difficulties during the exam, but still i managed to
replied to some of their ‘question’..but i know i am not gonna do well in this paper, but, if your paper has standard,
then, i gam sam, but this type of pointless questions..sei mmm ngan bai lor!!!
